Keeping your grill pellets fresh and dry can determine whether you enjoy your personal grilling experience or not. It is an overlooked step but don't worry, this quick guide will help you get the most out of your grill. Here's a quick video showing the difference between the two.
Why Wet Pellets Are Bad
Wet Pellets are not good for your grill because will have a hard time igniting. These will also cause much more smoke than usual and can even produce creosote. A high level of creosote can cause a burning sensation in the throat, mouth, or even stomach pain. This can be very harmful to cook with.
How To Know If They Are Wet
Wet pellets and dry pellets are fairly easy to distinguish. Dry pellets have more of a smooth shine, while wet pellets are darker and break off into several pieces when snapped.
