In the previous blog I went over the different styles of Derksen portable barns. There were many differences and the cabins have even more. Derksen has five different styles that come with many options to choose from. the five different styles are cabins, lofted barn cabins, side lofted barn cabins, deluxe cabins, and deluxe lofted barn cabins.
The Derksen cabin does not have shelves in it. It comes with a 4' porch. It also includes three 2x3 windows, and a 9-light 36" door. There are four different materials that can be used to build the Derksen Cabin, as well as the other four we will be going over. The materials are painted, treated, urethane, and z-metal. The smallest size is the 8x12 and can go as large as 16x50.
Lofted Barn Cabin
The Derksen lofted barn cabins do have the same door and window set-up as the Derksen cabin. The difference with these are the two lofts on each end of the building. These can be made out of painted, treated, urethane, or z-metal as well. The sizes are the same as the cabin coming in anywhere from 8x12 all the way to 16x50.
Side Lofted Barn Cabin
The Derksen side lofted barn cabin has the door and 4' porch on the side. It comes with the standard three 2x3 windows as well as the 9-light 36" door. The sizes range from 10x20 to 16x50.
The deluxe cabin is an excellent option if you are wanting a beautiful wrap around porch. The building comes with the three standard 2x3 windows and the 9-light door. Throughout all of the building materials, the sizes range from 12x32 to 16x50.
Deluxe Lofted Barn Cabin
The deluxe lofted barn cabin is the same as the deluxe cabin, except for there being the lofts. The standard building has the three 2x3 windows and 9-light door!
